Had to remove cloudflare as it was causing issues with something unrelated to forum but think it's solved, will re-add it soon.

Tried to disable the bot verification but immediately the DDoS started again. Not sure what kind of loser is trying to attack this completely dead forum, but it's actually pretty comical tbh.

Normally not crazy about incorporating 3rd party services as it adds complexity but decided to setup Cloudflare.

That seems to have solved the issue for now.

This is just a heads up that the poller has been moved to a different server so the IP you will see connecting to your shard every 5 minutes is 51.79.6.91.

This requires no action on your part unless you have firewall rules that need updating.

Going to start prepping to move web server now. To avoid inconsistencies in SQL data once the SQL has been migrated over to new server the old one will be shutdown and there will be downtime until DNS finishes propagating.

In the next week or so, the site and all services including UO Gateway will be getting moved. I just made an update to the shard management system, it is now possible to upload a banner image to the server, instead of pointing to a URL. This is now the only way to do it. We are being attacked by bots mass registering accounts, this is generating an influx in mail traffic which is starting to get us blacklisted. Disabling registrations until I can figure out a way to block these.
