Had one call today, so I decided to answer this time, I put them on hold with my classic "your call is important to us" hold music with the UO "wrong" music in the background. Waited a bit over a minute, then I heard a click sound, so I paused it, and listened for the dial tone, but it was still nothing, so chances are they were still on the line. So I hit the hang up button and then hanged up the receiver, making it look like the music stoped and there's something wrong with our phone system (happends allot when you call tech support for something).
Guess what, they called back!
I did not answer that time though.
Here's what I've done so far with telemarketters:
- Make them go on hold (record is pass 2 minutes)
- Answer as a pizza place
- Sound really interested then at the end say I'm not
hmm what should I try next?
