looking for information for help with a HP Pavil..

here is the trouble.

the computer is running win98se

(no that is not the trouble )

the problem is that it is an Hp and they on the win98se one set up the backweb program.

my question is what would happen to the os if we uninstalled that backweb. and doe hp use it anymore for win98
