Enough Light?

Just noticed this earlier. I had been wondering if 4 lanterns would emit enough light to make my lighthouse an effective lighthouse. Here's a picture. What do you guys think?

Should I add more light or is it fine?

If it isn't, I apologize to all the shipwrecked sailors.

hahaha nice! Try torches in combination with those lanterns, should be a rather interesting effect.

I'll try that. Maybe I'll hide them under the roof so that I get the light effect while keeping the clean design of the lanterns...... We'll see how it turns out.

Haha nice. That gives me an idea for a special lantern that blinks, just like a lighthouse would, but emits a wider light whos color can be changed.

Here's what I got after adding 3 torches under the roof. It seems that the light may have advanced one more tile (although I'm unsure).

Perhaps a paper lantern? I think I recall those having a decent light radius. Or course, I'm sure there's some sort of limit to the amount of light something can emit, so maybe I can't get any more...

Or an AFK macroer that constantly cast magic arrow in every direction. That'll teach them pesky boats to steer clear.

Yes if u follow the water line up from the ocean and land, you can see where the light extends a little
