The official living room thread

Post pictures of your living room or wreck room. This is the wreck room (did I spell that right? lol) with the fireplace. It's all fogged up because it has not been turned on in a while.

Hey, nice rec (short for recreation) room! We just have a great room, kitchen and living room together with an island separating the two. Red, your fireplace looks similar to mine. Ours has tile around it. We are in the process of cleaning the tile now, then the mantle will go up. I'll post the before pic. I think it is already on here somewhere but I'll post it again. The middle section of the wall unit will be replaced by the fireplace.

Those both look great! My house is sort of crappy, so you won't be seeing any pictures from me!

Maybe in a few years you can view pictures of my very small Tokyo apartment.

Here is the pic of the living room after hubby finished the fireplace. He sure did a lot of hard work and did it all by himself.

Thanks, I thought so too. He is just one of those people that can do anything. I'll get a pic of the staircase he built, all custom work. He had never built one before, but you wouldn't know it.
