That sucks bro! Oh well, live and learn.

In Wrong dungeon, in the bottom level behind the Juka Lord room there is a wooden box. What is it's purpose? I can't pick it, I can't open it, I can't steal it and I can't drop anything in it.....

not to mention the chest that spawns near it seems to spawn empty

I'd have to take a look. A lot of dungeons have "Filler" items. For example, hythloth has a lot of crates and ice has random chests. Think a few places have barrels (I'm sure you've also seen weapons/armor on the ground that you can't seem to pick up).

Some of the chests in dungeons are not dungeon chests (IE: are not locked/contain items. They just spawn empty). These are mostly for decoration and atmosphere in dungeons but for the clever rogue, are merely deceptive.

Chances are the box you saw was a decoration item in the dungeon.

Shouyld be fixed now, I global deleted all of them to let them respawn, the new chest code auto deletes chests that don't have 1 tile free on each side.

Ya that's old spawner code so that chest must have been lurking around for a while. The new spawner code has to allow a certain amount of free space in between to allow a chest to spawn there (So it doesn't sit in the middle of corridors and such).

Server goes down a 8pm eastern time every day. This is our server's "server wars" if you will. This is the time when new scripts and content get uploaded to the server. Our server wars isn't too long, maybe 5 minutes. Players voted that they'd rather have the server reboot instead of 15 min of fighting.

Orc bows do not come with slayers no. You can make slayer bows by collecting juka bows. Juka bows are obtained by killing juka lords and taking the bow that is in their pack (Don't be deceived, it actually does look like a regular bow). With a gm bowcrafter, you can turn it into a juka slayer bow by double clicking a gear then targetting the bow. From there it will gain a random slayer.

I can add chests to the orc caves. That dungeon slipped passed us for adding chests.

Glacial staves spawn. Kill giant ice serpents (The large blue snakes). You can find them in ice dungeon. The drop chance isn't very high so it may take awhile.

I can't recall if evil orc helms drop or not. I don't think they do, it was one of those things I was supposed to code but it kept getting pushed back. Give me a few days and I can add them in. OH now I remember. I was trying to find a decay yellow color for them that was sufficient but couldn't find one then accidently overwrote the script when I updated mine.

Red can give you an explanation about the explosion chaining.

Most efficient way to get aoas is likely to hit a felucca dungeon with a fair bit of medium/high monsters to kill. Destard and hythloth are decent choices as dragons/demons and shadow wyrms/ancient wyrms/balrons are good targets for chances.

Your chance goes by your AOA chance modifier and the fame of the creature you kill. Arctic Ogre Lords have high fame so your percent chance is a lot higher than if you kill say, a ratman which is about 2-3 hits. The more you kill, the higher your aoa chance modifier is but it still depends on the monster's fame for the rest of the chance. That is why a ratman gives a lower chance then an arctic ogre lord.

Also, many players forget about the slayer bows in the bowcraft menu (Possibly because they are new items). You can craft your own slayer bows if you have enough skill. It requires 1 brilliant amber which you can get from lumberjacks. The slayer is random so you can get all kinds or different slayers ranging from the useless lizardman slayer to the highly sought after daemon or undead slayers.

In addition to my previous post, some players like doing champion spawns to get scrolls as well as chances at aoas. Rikktor's spawn in destard is a decent choice. Doesn't even need to be destard in fact, just head to T2A and start up a random champion there. The farther you progress, the stronger the mobs get which means, higher AOA chance.

UOML dungeons are a good bet too. Although you might not necessarily want to venture too far into a UOML dungeon alone, there's quite a lot to kill in them and the respawn rate is faster there because they are meant for group kills.

Blighted grove is a great choice because it's the easiest and the named creatures you kill in there will give you AOA chances AND UOML Martie chances.

Palace of Paroxysmus is filled with a ton of good kill monsters like acid elementals, poison elementals, interred grizzles and plague beast lords. I've found quite a few supremes in there from time to time as well. If you're feeling balsy and want to turn your blade into a state of dire repair, head down that hole (Remember to bring + insure your acid proof rope as it's required for entry).

If you're feeling ultra badass you can buy a prism of light ticket for about 10k and venture a go in there though I can't guarantee you'll make out of there with your arms and your legs attached to the same torso; especially if the crystal lattice seekers notice you. Not insuring your goods there is a bad idea as it's one way (Trust me, I ran out of insurance at the radiant lake and it was a task to gradually drag my body back to the healer hut).

Some peerless you can solo but you can almost expect deaths. It also takes a really long time (Like 4 hours quest and peerless). Some players have successfully soloed peerless with the right gear and tactics. You will definately want to go with a group to provide backup though.

Yeah, but when you do figure out a way to solo them, eventually staff will watch you and just make them harder or nerf something in your tactics

Players shouldn't be able to solo everything. Got to make things challenging, gives people a certain goal. Also encourages team work which IMO is the funnest part of the game, working in a group. It's mostly the way you solo it more than anything else. If you're doing something that's obviously gimp or requires very little effort, the difficulty will be altered accordingly.

For example: Barracoon. Barracoon is the easiest champion because of faults in his AI (He's not that smart when it comes to elevation). Because he's supposed to be a fairly easy champion, his current ai stays the same.

Rule of thumb, if you're soloing a peerless boss and don't die at least twice or you're just sitting around, it's too easy.
