While I am not a fan whatsoever of the "Church" of Scientology, I think the charge and conviction of fraud is a bit harsh here. But then again, I don't know French law.

yeah, I didn't like that article. 95% of it was scientologists claiming the result is an attack on freedom of religion. It barely even spoke of what the case was actually about. But what do you expect of a major US news outlet and it's "show the controversy" mentality. But you'd at least expect CNN to get a quote from someone outside the church.

Scientology makes me laugh. Reminds me of when I find a small ant alone in the washroom. It's just going in all sorts of random directions and has no clue where it's heading.

Protect our future. Reject Islam.
9/11 was a terrorist attack by Islam. Never forget.

Yeah, more specifics regarding the actual laws broken and more info about the case as a whole would have been nice.manadren wrote: yeah, I didn't like that article. 95% of it was scientologists claiming the result is an attack on freedom of religion. Not really sure why it reminds you about that as they're actually quite deliberate in what they do;) Regarding individual members, on the other hand....Red Squirrel wrote: Scientology makes me laugh.
