I love Christmas, although I believe it is much too commercialised.

Yeah true it is comercialized a lot, and I hate how people call it Xmas not realizing what that means - putting X instead of Christ.
Though some of the comercialization is what brings the spirit, as bad as it sounds. All the Christmas sales and overdecorated stores with lot of flashing lights etc.

I hate “Xmas” as well, but only because of how it looks. I haven’t seen it used yet. I imagine businesses don’t want to be offensive.
I was shopping today, and I noticed that the store was playing Christmas music and the decorations were already up. Does anyone else think it’s a tad bit early?

I personally enjoy Christmas. Best time in the year. It's all the goodies and the decorations (And by goodies, I mean the santa shaped ju-jubes). I find it to be early this year, but that's because companies are interested in making the most money out of the holiday. I mean, that's up to them. I personally don't give into the whole "buy this buy that" atmosphere. I barely have a christmas list to give my family, mainly because I pretty much have everything I need right here, either that or I can just go out and buy it if I ever need it. I find that the saying X-Mas is kind of odd. Only time I find it acceptable is in MSN conversations, where structure doesn't matter. Point of the matter is you don't see people walking around going Merry Xmas, it just sounds weird. It seems that Santa Clause has been increasingly covering the the true reason for Christmas (Christ of course). It wasn't name Santamass, there is a reason for it. Anyways, I'm excited for Christmas. I get to go back home and freeze my limbs off

LOL while we watch all episodes of star wars from 1 to 6, multiple times.

Followed by Lord of the rings, and maybe a couple of Christmas movies in between.

Wow, that would be like a whole week of movies.
