citrix rules!

For those who don't know citrix is a server that allows you to run applications remotely so that way you can install 1 copy of office, and then all the clients can use word without having it installed on the workstation.

At college we have access to it from home and what's cool is that if you allow it, it will also map all your local drives on the server (for your personal session only) so when you go to save using a server program, you can save it to your drive and also print to your printer etc...

Well since one of our "programs" is a web page which opens in IE I typed "my computer" and used shortcut keys to get two windows open so I can actually transfer files from my personal drive to my home drive, so I can keep things syncronized every night. So if I do home work at home I can also transfer it at the college. Pretty cool stuff. Just thought I'd share this little citrix trick. Hopefully this is not considered a security exploit but it's a little something I discovered.
