Outlook and or Outlook Express

Post by rovingcowboy »

What are the Options in these two programs that will stop the access to zip files.
i have been sending zip files of harmless images to the friend that has those messed up computers and he got the zip files before and was able to open them before but not now?

seems like there was as far as i can remember a update that outlook express had that changed the options in it but i cant remember what the options are?

thanks for any help other then telling me to get rid of those programs i know there are others to use but we are using these. :D

 if i was to try and get him to use others he would be really messed up and lost.

The only option I know of is for Outlook Express, tools>options>security. There is an option to turn off or on the ability to open attachments. Not sure which version you are speaking of, mine is OE6.

If there is an antivirus program running, you may find some settings there as well. ;)

You may also want to check any firewall settings on the recieving machine. Some have built-in mail filtering and it may be picking up the zip files for some reason.
