I don't know as I've never used a spam blocker. I use" block sender" a lot and "create a message rule" in OE. Not sure there is a way anyhow since the spammers just change their email addy everyday so that gets around the "block sender" thing.

Just block the word "sex" and "viagra" and that get's rid of 90% of it right there... For the other 10% block the phrase "bigger is better".

Yep, did that one too. I have something like 23 message rules. It actually deletes about half of the spam now.

Spammers waste their time, since whether we get the mail or not, we usually delete it.
At least, I never entered my credit card on a "Free enlargement..." email form.

When Reliexec had a mail server (and that the forum was capable of sending mail
) I had this guy from china who hijacked it, he sent over 500 porn emails to one host. At least, there was 500 in the queue when I checked. I can't have a mail server because of that, not until I get Linux - and a new computer for it.

I must have picked up something today. Got a returned mail message for mail I didn't send. The address was for a spam message I had put in the block sender list. It must have tried to send itself out and since I have no address book, it was returned. Had that hapen before and it was a virus. Can't find anything on my system though. Pit test says I have 25% cpu usage. I ran the test 5 days ago with the same programs running and got 0%.
I don't know what is going on!

no there is a worm out there that will grab the last outgoing message and take the header and make the returned message and send it back to you.
just another way of getting you to click on a worm?
